Housing -- Off-campusSome ELI students live in off-campus apartments or houses which are within walking distance of the ELI. They share these places with other ELI or UD students, keeping their expenses down. Off-campus housing varies in quality and price, and may be furnished or unfurnished. The University of Delaware Housing Office posts a list of off-campus rental properties available on the internet at: UD housing classified ads (click on "housing" category) or http://crayola.hcs.udel.edu/has/offcampus/search_list.htm The off-campus housing lists will give you a good idea of the types of off-campus housing available and their costs. If you would like to live off campus, the ELI orientation staff will help you locate satisfactory housing. Individual students, however, are responsible for making their own final arrangements.
