Arrival InformationNew ELI students should plan to arrive in the United States on the Wednesday or Thursday before their scheduled ELI session. On-campus housing will not be available until the Saturday before the ELI session begins and is not guaranteed before that date. Students who intend to live off campus should plan to spend one or two days to look at different apartments before making a final choice. All newly arriving ELI students should plan to stay at a local hotel until their permanent housing is available. When you submit your ELI application for enrollment, you will select your first housing choice. The ELI will send a form with your welcome package which will address your housing and arrival needs.
