Robert G. Lamoureaux earned a B.A. in English from California State University, while working full time for the Los Angeles Police Department and the FBI. In addition, he then went to Australia to get a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English Language to Adults). Later he returned to Sydney, Australia to earn a M.A. TESOL degree, as well. He has put this education and training to work while teaching over three years in public schools in Japan, over three years in Ha Noi, Viet Nam, including a position at the Ha Noi Univeristy of Technology, two years in New Zealand, a year in Australia, one year at a university in South Korea, and a short stint in Singapore, as well. In the rare, rare moments when not working, he continues to plan for the time when he too can return to school, to pursue a PhD degree in teaching. Also, he enjoys playing the guitar, going to the gym, reading novels, bicycling riding, practicing foreign languages, making his own class materials, Reese’s Peanutbutter Cups, and preparing his Nobel Prize and/or Oscar acceptance speech
