Joe Matterer

Associate Director


Joe Matterer, Associate Director of the ELI, has been involved in ESL since 1979 when he received a Masters Degree in Linguistics, with a specialization in TEFL, from Ohio University. He has been at the University of Delaware since 1985 where he primarily teaches beginning level classes. He also teaches a TOEFL preparation course, and he has served as the academic coordinator for several special programs at the ELI.
