Application Procedures

Applicants who are already in the United States on an F-1 student visa

  1. Download the printable IEP application or complete our online application.
  2. Submit the application by fax. Our fax number is (001) 302.831.6765.
  3. Submit the following documents by fax:
    1. A copy of your passport
    2. A copy of your current I-20 form i. You must also submit your original I-20 form, which was stamped by the US immigration officer when you entered the US
    3. A copy of your I-94 card (this card was given to you when you entered the US. It is normally stapled into your passport next to your student visa)
    4. A copy of your F-1 student visa
    5. Proof of financial resources. This can take the form of a bank statement or a bank letter, and it must show the following information:
      1. The name of the account holder (either the student or the person who will pay for the student’s studies) written in the English alphabet
      2. The date (the bank statement must be no more than 3 months old)
      3. The amount of money in your account. It must show $4,500 US for each session you will attend.
    6. A letter of sponsorship. This is only necessary if someone will pay for your studies. If your family or a friend will pay for your studies, please ask them to create and sign a letter of sponsorship.
