Hello All

I am a very old student in ELI but not the oldest! I was in ELI during the Fall of 1992. I transferred to Ohio State University in Winter 1993 and graduated in 1998 with B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering. Now I am working in my family business for a laboratory for testing building materials. I have a beautiful family with two sons and two daughters.

I remember the old time in ELI where I met many friends from all around the world. The unique atmosphere at ELI is the family culture, where everybody is attached to the others, and we where like brothers and sisters in one house at ELI. Hope that you remember me because my hair started to get white!

Thank you all & regards,

dear all, I am an Algerian former student of the ELI. I had the chance to take the ELI intensive course in 2004. The course was short( 05 weeks) but its impact on my whole life was very strong. Each time I close my eyes many wonderful memories cross my mind. I remember the incredibly gentle satff of the ELI namely joe Materer, DR Scott, Barbara Gilette, Lesli and june. I also remember our trip to New York and the very pleasing moment we spent watcing the "Beauty and the Beast" play in the Broadway Theater.

Till now, I still miss every moment I spent studying in the ELI very cozy classrooms. For all these wonderful moments, and many others such as the couscous party in Joe's house, the Philidelfia visit, the dinner in the Australian restaurant........ I can never be gratful enough. I am sorry , I did not write earlier, but as the old adage says " better late then never".

Keep bringing joy into others hearts, the best mission a human being may have in his life.
