Individual Demonstration (30 minutes)

Name: Nezha Belkachla
Topic: Designing and implementing communicative tasks in the EFL Classroom

Target audience: Pre-service (CPR educators)

Objectives:
At the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to

  • be aware of the criteria for designing and implementing communicative tasks in the EFL Classroom
  • be able to use some materials from books in the box with their trainees

Materials from Books in the Box:
"Shenanigames”
"English for Everyday Activities”
"Breaking the Writing Barrier”
" Interactive Tutorial”

Curriculum goals:

  • Bring variety and fun to the Existing English curriculum
  • Supplement the textbook
  • Reinforce the four skills
  • Respond to different learning styles
  • Foster cultural awareness

Methodology: The workshop is adopting the participative approach. The participants will experience activities from the four references in pairs and groups, and evaluate their feasibility in the Moroccan English curriculum
