2004 English as a Foreign Language Institute
for Moroccan Teacher Trainers

Workshops

Workshops for the Institute focus on the needs of trainers of TEFL teachers assigned to Moroccan middle schools and highlight current and effective techniques, approaches and methods. Initial workshop sessions combine explanations of best practice approaches with demonstrations involving audience participation. The use of theory is kept to a minimum. Many of the workshops include follow-up sessions. The follow-up workshop sessions require participants to use their own instructional materials and materials from the Books-in-the Box to design country appropriate activities/lessons as well as training sessions for use when they return home.
