Safety Committee Responsibilities

Department Safety Committees were formed by University Policy 7-02 in general to promote safety at the department level and to provide a forum for departmental participation in the overall University Safety Program. In addition to the general role, department safety committees also perform specific safety functions. More information about these functions can be found in the areas listed below:
