Code of Ethics It is essential to the function of Environmental Health & Safety
and
our commitment to our Mission and Vision that the members of our
department adhere to the following values:
1. Uphold the honor and integrity of the professions
represented in the field of occupational and environmental health and
safety while following recognized scientific principles and industry
practices with the realization that the health and well being of people
and the environment may depend upon your professional judgment.
2. Aspire to achieve the highest level of technical
expertise, professional development, client service, and personal conduct.
3. Respect diversity and strive to understand and
work with individuals who hold different perspectives and priorities.
4. Do not engage in any behavior that is dishonest,
misrepresents facts, or in any way compromises the reputation of the
department or University.
5. Demonstrate leadership in all areas of
occupational and environmental health and safety by your actions,
interactions and communications.
6. Promote compliance with all occupational and
environmental regulations, policies and standard practices.
7. Avoid circumstances where a compromise of
professional judgment or conflict of interest may arise.

business information following established Department and University
