Storm Water Management

The University of Delaware has partnered with the City of Newark to develop a storm water management program in response to the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) MS4, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) requirements. The program is focused in six major areas:

1. Pollution Prevention/Good Housekeeping
2. Public Participation and Involvement
3. Public Education and Outreach
4. Construction Site Runoff Control
5. Post Construction Site Runoff Control
6. Illicit Discharge Detection
