
The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in a child in the few minutes until professional help arrives. Topics include First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies. Optional topics include Fever and Suspected Abuse. This course is approved by Delacare. Cost of class is $30.00 and must be paid in advance. The cost of the course is $50.00 is you attend both the Pediatric First Aid and the Heartsaver AED/CPR modulues. You may mail or deliver a check for the correct amount, made out to the University of Delaware to our office.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association, and any fees charged for such a course do not represent income to the Association.
