Class III Biological Safety CabinetsClass III biological safety cabinets provide maximum personnel,
environmental, and product protection. They are totally enclosed,
ventilated cabinets. The cabinet is maintained under negative pressure. Work inside the cabinet is done with the use of attached
rubber gloves. Air passes through a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter
when it enters the cabinet. The exhaust air passes through two HEPA filters prior
to its release to the outdoors through a duct system.
