Chemical
Hygiene Program
The University
of Delaware is committed to providing a safe working environment for its
faculty, staff, students and visitors. The goal of the University's
Chemical Hygiene Program is to minimize the risk of injury or illness by
ensuring that University Personnel have the training, information, support
and equipment needed to work safely in the laboratory.
The University Chemical Hygiene Committee facilitates the
implementation of the program through the Department of Environmental
Health and Safety and develops and maintains the University's Chemical
