Bloodborne Pathogens Training

The University of Delaware's Bloodborne Pathogens Program requires all individuals covered under the program to receive annual training. This training can be provided by the group's permit supervisor or it may be arranged through the Department of Environmental Health and Safety. A training certificate must be on file at the Department of Environmental Health and Safety for all covered personnel. The form lists the topics that must be covered.

Awareness training is also available to any individuals or groups who are not technically covered by the Bloodborne Pathogens Program, but are interested in information regarding bloodborne pathogens.

Any questions or concerns related to bloodborne pathogens training should be addressed to Kathleen Schmidt or call 831-3123.
