Laura Glass serves as the Associate Director of the School of Education at the University of Delaware. In this role, she coordinates the Elementary Teacher Education (ETE) program and oversees the curriculum, assessments, and field experiences for the approximately 600 students in the program. She teaches the First-Year Experience course EDUC 100: Introduction to Elementary and Middle School Education every fall for ETE freshmen. She also works with the students in this program as the faculty advisor for the Association of Pre-Professional Leaders in Education (APPLE), which hosts professional development activities, social events, and outreach opportunities for ETE students.

Laura is a member of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) Board of Examiners and supports the School of Education faculty in the development and implementation of their assessment plans for accreditation. She is an Assistant Professor of mathematics education and has taught five different mathematics education courses for ETE students.
