AA in ETE Program Highlights

The Associate in Arts Degree in Elementary Teacher Education performs the following functions:

  • allows students to complete an AA Degree in southern Delaware;
  • offers the same quality of courses as the Newark program;
  • is a nationally accredited program;
  • is equivalent to the first two years of the BSED degree in Elementary Teacher Education;
  • offers small class size and a faculty dedicated to helping each student be successful;
  • provides the same UD student privileges as on our Newark campus, including library access;
  • allows eligible students to participate in the SEED Scholarship program offering free tuition.

SEED Scholarship

Students enrolled in the Associate in Arts Degree in Elementary Teacher Education are eligible for the Delaware SEED (Student Excellence Equals Degree) Scholarships provided by the state of Delaware.  SEED scholarships cover tuition for full-time student enrolled in an AA degree program.  For more information on eligibility requirement and applying for the SEED Scholarship go to http://www.udel.edu/associateinarts/SEED.
