Early Field Experiences
The early field experiences in the freshman and sophomore years include working closely with individual students and observing classrooms. Transportation is available for students. These experiences help ETE students learn as early as their first semester about how to work with students and view classrooms from the perspective of a teacher.
The following chart describes the early field experiences in the ETE coursework. After each course, you will want to document your experience in your online Field Placement Record. Information about what you need to do before the placement and how to access your Field Placement Record after the placement can be found at the Office of Clinical Studies website by clicking on the course in which you have a field placement.
