Registration Information
It is important that you meet with your advisor every semester during the registration period. You should come to that meeting with an idea of the classes you want to take and a list of questions that your advisor can help answer. Together, you will discuss your academic plan for the next semester(s) and make sure that the classes you plan to take are appropriate. Once you have met with your advisor and devised a list of classes for which you hope to register, you will log onto UDSIS and register for those classes online.
Fall registration begins in April, and spring registration begins in November. Check the calendar for exact dates each semester.
Blocks
When it comes time to register for your Elementary or Specialty Block classes (no earlier than junior year), you will meet with your advisor to see which section you have been assigned. Procedures for Block registration will be outlined for you at your class meetings in the second semester of your sophomore year. If you have questions regarding block registration now, please contact your advisor.
Making Changes to Your Schedule
Anytime you wish to make a change to your schedule, it is important for you to first consult your advisor. Your advisor will make sure that dropping or adding a particular class is the appropriate action for you to take and will then advise you of the steps you need to take in order to make the change.
