Registration Information
It is important that you meet with your advisor every semester during the registration period. You should come to that meeting with an idea of the classes you want to take and a list of questions that your advisor can help answer. Together, you will discuss your academic plan for the next semester(s) and make sure that the classes you plan to take are appropriate.
Once you have met with your advisor and create a possible schedule, you will log onto UDSIS and register for those classes online. Anytime you wish to make a change to your schedule, it is important for you to first consult your advisor. Your advisor will make sure that dropping or adding a particular class is the appropriate action for you to take and will then advise you of the steps you need to take in order to make the change.
Fall and summer registration begins in April and spring and winter registration begins in November. The academic deadlines for schedule changes each semester is available online on the UD academic calendar.
Blocks
If you will be taking courses in the Elementary Block, Special Education Block or Middle School Block the following semester, an advisor will register you for your education courses and you will be able to view your schedule on UDSIS after your registration appointment date. Procedures for Block registration will be outlined for you at the class meetings in the second semester of your sophomore year.
