Welcome to the School of Education's
Office of Undergraduate Services
During your career in the Elementary Teacher Education (ETE) program at the University of Delaware, there will be many choices and decisions to make, and some of them may be confusing or difficult at times. Your advisor in the School of Education is available to help you make those decisions and to assist you in planning your academic program. Please feel free to contact us whenever a question or problem arises. We are here to help!
It is important to meet with your advisor on a regular basis to ensure that you make the most of your college experience. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the roles and responsibilities that both you and your advisor play and with helpful hints to get the most from your next advisement appointment. Doing these things will help you reach your goals in a timely and effective manner. You need to actively participate in your educational planning, as you are ultimately responsible for the decisions you make regarding your program of study in the ETE program and at the University of Delaware. Ask many questions, explore numerous opportunities, and have fun!
Remember, if you think you should visit your advisor to talk about your concerns, you probably should! We look forward to seeing you soon.
