Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership
The Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) is an academically rigorous, practitioner-oriented program for practicing educational professionals. Students in the Ed.D. program are from both K-12 and postsecondary education. Ed.D. students are assistant principals, principals, teachers, department chairs, central office specialists, and team leaders; higher education instructors and managers in areas such as admissions, financial aid, and student services; and education technology and media specialists.
Students in this 3-4 year program remain in full-time employment while pursuing their graduate studies part-time. Classes are in the evening; some courses are offered Saturday mornings.
