12th Annual Cross-University Collaborative Mentoring Conference
CUCMC 2012: Exploring the Needs of 21st Century Learners: Issues of Education & Development from an Interdisciplinary Perspective
We are happy to announce that the 12th Annual Cross-University Collaborative Mentoring Conference (CUCMC) will be co-hosted by doctoral students from the University of Delaware and New York University. The conference will be held on June 20-21, 2012, at the University of Delaware in Newark, DE.
CUCMC is an annual, student-led conference that focuses on providing graduate students with the opportunity to obtain mentoring on their independent research projects. Students who present at the conference have the opportunity to receive feedback from both faculty and fellow students with similar research interests from various universities and fields of study. Doctoral students may submit their personal work at any stage of research, from proposal stage through study completion. Typical presentations include research theses, doctoral qualifying projects, and doctoral dissertation work.
The theme of this year’s conference stresses gaining an interdisciplinary perspective on the needs of 21st century learners. We look forward to hosting you at UD this year. Please continue to check back for conference submission information and additional updates over the next several weeks.
