The University of Delaware is pleased to announce
that our commitment to support the professional development of Delaware's educators will continue for the 2009 Summer Session.

Tuition for 2009 Summer Session courses will be waived.

Eligible teachers and other personnel in Delaware's school districts and charter schools will be able to register for classes during all three University of Delaware summer sessions. The only charge is a small administrative fee. Use the Eligibility tab for more specifics regarding who qualifies for tuition waivers.

Summer Session registration is open now.

Use the Courses tab to see the list of Summer Session courses and register. The Questions tab contains a list of frequently asked questions and their answers. Attend Classes in Newark or Georgetown.

The University of Delaware offers Summer Session courses on the Newark and Georgetown campuses. Summer session classes typically meet during the following timeframes:

June 8 - July 11 (5 weeks)

June 8 - July 30 (7.5 weeks)

July 13 - August 14 (5 weeks)

Courses in the Summer Institute in Educational and Assistive Technology (SIEAT) follow customized schedules. Some of the SIEAT courses last two weeks, while others last up to five weeks. To see the Summer 2009 SIEAT schedule of courses, follow this link to SIEAT.
