What to do once you are accepted

A great source of general information for new graduate students is available at the Getting Started as a New Graduate Student Page of the Office of Graduate Studies website

The Getting Started as a New Graduate Student Page contains information on:

  • How do I register?
  • How do I get a UDNetwork ID?
  • How do I get a student ID card?
  • What do I need to know about tuition?
  • What student services are available?
  • What campus services are available?

Information specific to the School of Education

  • Contact your advisor before registration begins to decide what classes to register for. Newly admitted students will register in mid-August for the fall semester.

  • Be sure to attend the New Student Orientation, where we will introduce you to some of the School’s faculty and staff, give you important information about your academic program and about navigating the registration and administrative system, and introduce you to some of your new colleagues. New Student Orientation will be held in late August and you will receive more information about orientation in early summer.
