· The first reading provides an overview of genomics as of 2000, as well as some ethical concerns. The second reading takes a dim view of what genomic technology will do to humanity.
· To what extent does the account of genomics in the Economist’s Survey (the first reading) support, contradict, or simply remain silent on Kass’s most central concerns? Be sure to specify what Kass’s key concerns are.
