Rewrite 2: Please turn in both (1) the fellowed copy of your first version and (2) your rewrite.
Be prepared to discuss your answers to the following questions:
· Imagine yourself being in a horrific accident. All your limbs are amputated, some organs are crushed, and you are told you must have more machine parts than human ones in order to survive. Would you take the technology to save your life?
· If yes, how do you think it would change your life?
· If no, under what circumstances would you say yes: to replace just one limb or internal organ, two limbs and/or organs, etc? That is, where would you draw the line?
· Would your answers above differ at all if the replacement parts came from another species of animal?
