Research interests: investigating school-based prevention and intervention programs for vulnerable urban youth, with an emphasis on the efficacy of peer- and parent-mediated strategies. Her work highlights the need for researchers to collaborate with educators, parents, and community members to develop contextually-sensitive programs that enhance children's academic and psychological outcomes.
