UD called 'epicenter' of 2008 presidential race
Bloomberg News says, "The academic epicenter of this year's presidential election isn't, as in some years past, Harvard or Yale. It's located between Baltimore and Philadelphia at the University of Delaware."

Blue Hens everywhere are encouraged to wear the Blue and Gold in a show of support for UD on College Colors Day, which will be celebrated nationwide on Friday, Aug. 29. Screenings of 30 movies slated for Newark Film Festival
Film buffs and movie fans will not want to miss the fourth annual Newark Film Festival, lasting eight days and featuring 30 films and 112 screenings of "movies that matter."
