Personal Attributes

P1: Organization

1. Prepare materials in advance of lessons
2. Keep student work organized
3. Use a calendar to organize workload, meetings, long-term planning, etc.
4. Keep the classroom and your desk neat and orderly.

P2: Initiative

1. Get to know the students immediately.
2. Volunteer before being told to do something.
3. Offer new ideas regarding the physical environment, classroom management, use of technology, etc.
4. Communicate with parents and colleagues.
5. Familiarize yourself with the state standards, teacher's guides, resources, and programs in your classroom and district.

P3: Writes coherently with correct grammar.

P4: Articulates clearly using correct grammar.

P5: Manages time and work effectively.

1. Submit lesson plans and projects in a timely fashion, according to specified dates.
2. Arrive to school, meetings, etc. on time.
3. Grade and return student work as soon as possible.

P6 Demonstrates responsibility

1. Attend school events (parent conferences, etc.)
2. Avoid doing personal work during the school day.
3. Respond to suggestions in a professional manner.
