To be eligible, candidates must...

• Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a field other than education
• Take and pass the Praxis I tests in reading, writing and mathematics
• For those interested in secondary special education, take and pass the Praxis II content area test or completion of an academic major (30 credit hours) in one of the core academic areas.
• Apply and be accepted into the graduate program
