**The audition section is open to all college students and all seniors in high school (even if you are wait-listed for admissions to UD)

All current UD students interested in trying out MUST get a physical examination at the Sports Medicine Building on campus -- BEFORE tryouts. Call (302) 831-2482 to schedule an appointment.**

April 14:
10:00am: Audition sign-in (Carpenter Sports Building-NOT the Bob Carpenter Center)
10:15- 12pm: Warm-Up/Skill & Tech./ Combinations Across the floor (Cut #1)
12pm- 12:45pm: Lunch Break
12:45pm- 3:45pm Learn jazz, hip hop and pom choreography
3:45pm- 4:00pm: Wrap-up and questions about Sunday’s Audition

April 15:
12:45pm-4:00pm: Audition and Cut #2: Perform all Routines (each candidate must pick one routine/style to add 2 eight Counts to it for auditions)
4pm- 5pm: Posting of the Team and Team Meeting to discuss the upcoming season

Skills and Technique Required:

Triple and quadruple pirouettes
Jetes
Leaps in second
Calypsos
C-jumps
At least 2 eight counts of fouette turns
Overall flexibility
The ability to perform and excite the audience
Jazz, hip hop, and pom dance experience

Attire for BOTH Days of Auditions:

Tan tights
Jazz shoes
Black booty shorts
Royal blue tank top
Black Sweatpants and Any color Sneakers for Hip Hop
