This semester is the final stepping stone for our Fraternity in a transformation that has been ongoing for several semesters. Almost 3 years ago, this spring’s graduating seniors began a change in attitude and culture in this Fraternity. We had a 3 year plan. In the first year we began molding a new internal structure and the ideals we wanted all brothers to possess. In Year 2, we developed many programs and pioneered events to externally let people know who Kappa Delta Rho was. In Year 3, our ideals are finally matured internally and we are ready to bring them public. We have taken care of all of our brothers first and are now in an expansion stage where we are ready to train a new generation in the ideals we have all committed to.

We are prepared to take only the best and most capable men and will work diligently to make sure that happens. We have our sights set for the Sigma Alpha new member class. These men will be educated in our history, prestige, and the ideals and virtue of a true KDR Gentleman. They will join the current brothers as the new face of Kappa Delta Rho as we approach our 20th Anniversary at the University of Delaware in 2006.

The brotherhood of Kappa Delta Rho partakes in an array of activities to suit the needs of our diverse membership, including competitive intramural sports, community services and philanthropy projects and many social events, from parties and mixers, and the Red Rose formal to cap off every spring semester. Kappa Delta Rho also hosts several events on campus every year. On March 10th we hosted the first ever Delaware Idol. Much like the hit T.V. series "American Idol" there was live performances and voting. All proceeds benefited the victims of hurricanes Wilma, Rita, and Katrina.
