Jaclyn Allen:
Jaclyn is a Mass Communication major with a minor in Psychology. On campus, Jaclyn is a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. Aside from being an Oral Communication Fellow, she is also a member of PRSSA. Jaclyn is a part of UDress fashion magazine as well and writes articles for the magazine each semester. This New Jersey girl loves shopping, hanging with friends, watching movies, dancing, going to the beach, watching the Phillies, listening to music and traveling. She recently traveled to Israel for 10 days in August and will be spending this upcoming winter session in Italy. One day she hopes to work at a magazine company, TV station or radio station. Her dream job is to be a celebrity news correspondent!
Alyssa Barnett:
Alyssa is a junior and a Mass Communications major. When she graduates she would like to go into Event planning or PR. She is currently interning for the event company Proud to Plan. On campus she is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, PCMA, and Career Ambassadors. She is from New York and loves public speaking.
Lauren Boots:
Lauren is a senior, Mass Communication major with Advertising and Journalism minors. Born and raised in Delaware, she is a beach girl at heart with big city dreams in mind for her future. On campus, Lauren is the Service Philanthropy Chair of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, and enjoys being active in the Greek community. She also enjoys being a reporter for The Review, going to concerts, and spending time with her amazing friends here at the U of D.
Kerry Camacho:
Kerry Camacho is a junior Mass Communication Major with minors in History and Interactive Media. After she graduates from the University of Delaware, Kerry would love to work on the production team for a morning news program. This past summer, she interned with the morning News Directors at News 12 Connecticut. She also enjoyed spending time in the sun while lifeguarding at a local pool near her home in Long Island. When she wasn’t working, she found time to spend with her family and friends. In addition to being an Oral Communication Fellow, Kerry is also involved with the Student Television Network here on campus. She loves speaking in front of others and she can’t wait to help you get an A on your class presentation!
Alexa Carvalho:
Alexa is a junior Interpersonal Communications major with minors in Spanish and Advertising. She was born and raised in beautiful Princeton, New Jersey. Her hobbies include reading, going to the beach, spending time with friends, and exercising. During the summertime, she enjoys working at her town’s pool. Aside from being an Oral Communications Fellow, Alexa is a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority and she is also involved in the Public Relations Student Association (PRSSA).
Kristen Eastman:
Kristen is a senior in Mass Communication and Political Science double major with a minor in Journalism. Kristen is a member of the University’s Synchronized Skating Team for which she plays an active role as team treasurer. She is also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Kristen is from Minneapolis, Minnesota and has enjoyed her taste of the east coast.
Carly Figman:
Carly is a world champion talker. She won class chatterbox unanimously senior year of high school. She is a trained singer and started taking lessons when she was five. Her first experience on stage was singing Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid. Carly is a mass communication major and political science minor. She is a marketing representative for Barnes and Noble and is the service chair for her sorority. Carly loves public speaking and helping others getting over their fear of talking in public.
Andrew Frischman:
Andrew is a senior Mass Communication major, minoring in Advertising and Political Science. A New Jersey native, Andrew enjoys writing, speaking, and watching movies. Along with Oral Comm Fellowing, Andrew is also involved with STN49, the PRSSA, and is a brother of Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI). He one day hopes to work in film or television. He specializes in presentation preparation and design, and at least five people in his life have told him he's been helpful. This year he's really hoping to make it at least six.
Melissa Howard:
Melissa is a senior majoring Mass Communication with a minor in English and Journalism. She is the Assistant News Desk Editor of The Review and the Marketing Chair of the UDance Executive Board. Melissa is also a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Originally from Central Jersey, Melissa enjoys shopping, hanging out with friends and family, and the Jersey Shore. After college, she plans on living in New York City and working in public relations. Melissa loves to travel and wants to see the whole world.
Suzy Nager:
Suzy is a junior Interpersonal Communication major with a minor in Advertising. She is born and raised in New York City and can't imagine living anywhere else. On campus, Suzy is a member of the Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority.
Megan Ritterhoff:
Megan is a senior and majors in Mass Communication. Born and raised in Delaware she loves the beach but hopes to move west after graduation. On campus, she is involved with Colleges Against Cancer, Public Relations Student Association (PRSSA), and is a member of two honor societies, The National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Omicron Delta Kappa. In her free time, when she’s not working at Target, she enjoys dancing, swimming, traveling, and hanging out with friends.
Julie Urban: Julie is a returning Oral Communication Fellow. She is a junior from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Her hobbies include playing lacrosse, exercising, and photography. She is majoring in English major and minors in Journalism. Here at the University of Delaware she is involved in many other activities. She is a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, as well as a First-Year Experience peer mentor. She also writes for the fashion magazine UDress. She loves her roommates, her friend’s house on South Chapel Street, but most of all, she loves college!!
Lauren Zaremba:
Lauren is a senior Mass Communication and English double major with a
minor in Journalism. Born and raised in New York, she is a true city girl who can't live without Broadway and a good New York pizza. Lauren is a Blue Hen Ambassador on campus and has been involved in Public Relations Student Association, PRSSA, and The Biweekly Show. Her three favorite things to talk about are Grey's Anatomy, Twilight and the Broadway show Spring Awakening. Lauren is also planning to live in Manhattan after graduation and pursue a career in publishing.
