Fox Glacier

    Our time spent in Fox Glacier was short, but the quaint town was worth a stop.  Above is what the glacier looked like while we were there.  If you look to the far left side you can see Mr. Vagenas, which will help you put the size of the glacier into perspective.

Trans Alpine Train:
To get to Fox Glacier we took the TransAlpine Train part of the way there.  It allowed us to take in more of the natural beauty that New Zealand has to offer.

The following are some more shots of the Glacier and the area around it.  The reason it looks blue is because the dense ice of the glacier absorbs every other color of the spectrum except blue, so blue is what you are able to see.
