Update: "Left Behind" Documentary has earned the Award of Merit from The Accolade Competition. This is an international award that recognizes excellence.
A documentary prepared by UD students about the history of the Chrysler Corp. plant in Newark may now be viewed online.Left Behind: Chrysler's Newark Assembly Plant Past, Present and Future premiered May 21 on campus before a standing-room-only crowd of students, administrators, Chrysler workers and members of the community. The documentary was created for COMM425, "Broadcast News Documentary," taught by Ralph Begleiter, Distinguished Journalist in Residence and Professor of Communication.
