Welcome to Broadcast News This course will offer you a limited experience in the concepts and practice of developing and presenting a weekly television newscast, including program design, producing, editorial decision-making, writing and presentation. Simply put, our goal is to produce and present a weekly newscast which may be aired on the University of Delaware student television station. You will learn about story and element selection and writing, developing and conducting television interviews, creating a program rundown, guest booking, planning for future programs and other aspects of television news.
