Currently, the limits on student use of University computing resources are defined as follows:
- Maximum size of a single e-mail message: To allow all users to send and receive messages efficiently, the University may need to limit the size of e-mail messages sent. The limit is set depending on network traffic. If you have a file larger than 5M that you wish to share, consider using the University's Drop Box service instead of e-mail.
- Standard Disk Quota (central University servers): 75M for stored e-mail; an additional 20M for other files: e.g., personal web pages and all other files stored in your account's "home directory."
For more information about bandwidth issues, visit the Help Center's security site: http://www.udel.edu/security. For information about increasing your disk quota or assistance with other e-mail or computing questions, visit the IT Help Center's web area, or contact them via e-mail or telephone (831-6000).
