How to Subscribe to Consulting on Demand

You can subscribe to Consulting on Demand, automatically receiving the latest episodes in iTunes or another RSS reader.

Using iTunes

Apple's free iTunes software is available for Windows XP and MacOS X computers. If you don't have iTunes on your computer, download it and follow the instructions at the Apple web site (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/).

Even though iTunes is primarily a for-fee service, you can use iTunes to subscribe to Consulting on Demand (and many other podcasts) for free!

  1. Point your mouse at the orange XML icon:  . If you are using a Windows computer, Right-Click on the icon; if you are using a MacOS X computer, Control-Click on the icon.
  2. Select Copy Shortcut or Copy Link Location.

    (Alternatively, you could use your mouse to highlight this URL
    http://www.udel.edu/cod/casts.rss
    and then use Control-C on a Windows computer or Command-C on a MacOS X computer to copy it.)

  3. Open iTunes on your computer. From the Advanced menu, select Subscribe to Podcast.
  4. Paste the link (using Control-V on a Windows computer or Command-V for a MacOS X computer) into the URL box.
  5. Click OK.
  6. You are now subscribed to Consulting on Demand. The most recent episode will begin to download to your computer immediately.

    Each time you open iTunes after a new episode is published, the latest episode will automatically be downloaded to your computer.

    Note: You may see a list of episodes in lighter grey type. You can download any of those episodes by clicking the GET button next to the title of the episode you wish to watch.

Using other RSS readers

Other RSS readers have different subscription methods. Shortcuts for Yahoo! and Google users are listed below, as are the URLs that you might need to use for other RSS readers.

  •  Click to add Consulting on Demand to My Yahoo.
  • Add to Google Click to add Consulting on Demand to Google.
  • Other RSS readers may or may not have an automated way that will allow you to subscribe to Consulting on Demand. You will want to copy and paste one of these URLs into your RSS reader to subscribe to Consulting on Demand:
