Searching for and Erasing Sensitive Information from Your
Computer
In these episodes you'll see how to
- use Copernic (Windows) and Spotlight (Macintosh) to
search for sensitive information on your computer (Running Time:
3:56)
- use Eraser (Windows) or Secure Empty Trash (Macintosh)
to erase (delete all traces of) sensitive information from your
computer (Running Time: 4:04).
In addition, you'll hear about
- using DBan (Windows) and Disk Utility (Macintosh) to
prepare the hard drive of a computer before you sell or
"surplus" a computer.
