These are standards pertaining to the Responsibilities of the CITA, commonly used and supported software, unsupported software, software licensing and purchasing sofware. Some software applications may be available to the University of Delaware at an institutional rate.

Unsupported software
If a department chooses software that is not supported, then that
department is responsible for the support of that software.
If you are unsure whether a software program is supported, call the Help Center at 831-6000.
Software Licenses and Purchases
Each CITA is responsible for
ensuring compliance with all software licenses, including licenses for software for
which the University has a campus-wide license and licenses for
software purchased by an individual department.
Check the Software
distribution page or consult with theTechnology Solutions
Center
to verify if UD has a site license. TSC consultants are available to answer
questions, provide information and advice on software purchases for Windows or Macintosh systems.
