MyCourses CITA Training Course

The MyCourses Site for the CITA Training Program was designed to help CITAs become self sufficient and knowledgeable about Information Technologies at the University of Delaware. The program has three modules: CITAs review the information in the IT Professionals Orientation web pages in module one; module two consists of self-training materials available to CITAs; and the third module details formal training options.

You must be registered in this course to access it. This is a course which is available to all staff with the title of CITA. Contact User Services for information.

The Campus Information Technology Associate Career Ladder policy provides an outline for potential career growth and advancement for technical professionals in CITA job classes.

The Information Resource Consultant Career Ladder policy provides an outline for potential career growth and advancement for User Services professionals in IRC job classes.

The MIS Career Ladder policy provides an outline for potential career growth and advancement for Management Information Services professionals in Programmer/Analyst, Database Administrator, and Web Developer job classes.

CITAs and other IT Professionals can also take advantage of courses offered at the University of Delaware and other local academic institutions in their pursuit of career growth. All permanent staff are eligible to take a certain number of UD courses per year according to the Course Fee Waiver Policy
