The UD Community contacts the IT Help Center to report problems with:

• Central Systems
• Ethernet connections
• Telephone lines
• Voicemail
• Cable TV
• Campus-wide Card Reader System

Hardware installation, upgrade and repair requests are not handled by the IT Help Center. Contact the Technology Solutions Center for Ethernet card and modem installations or contact UD's desktop computer maintenance provider for all other hardware requests.

The IT Help Center web site provides virus alerts, daily system status and information such as:

• Checklists for new and returning faculty and staff
• Help with e-mail
• Connections to the UD network
• Helpful URLs and phone numbers

A topic index and site search capability provide quick access to documentation.

The IT Help Center also provides statistics of reported computer problems and monthly reports to CITAs of the problems submitted by their departments.
