Those who submit materials do so at their option, and should not expect to receive a response from the University. Also, UD will neither accept nor respond to unsolicited telephone calls in regard to prospective site work opportunities. Any letter, email or voice message or other informal inquiry submitted to the University will not be considered a formal bid or a formal expression of interest. The only way you or your company may bid on work related to the Chrysler site is to submit a qualified response to an official University solicitation for bids.
The contractor selection process for demolition and salvage of the former assembly plant’s legacy facilities and related site preparation will be managed via a formal Request For Proposals, anticipated to be released in late November 2009.
