Does nuclear energy generation solve the energy problem?

Nuclear power offers the highest efficiency in energy production compared to other current methods. However, the environmental impact and safety problems resulting from nuclear energy are significant concerns that must be addressed.

Though alternative energy sources are not as efficient as nuclear energy, they do not present the problem of hazardous waste and thereby might be better suited for long-term energy production.

In conclusion: though the nuclear energy generation efficiently produces significant amounts of electricity, it will not solve the energy problem until the critical issue of proper nuclear waste disposal is met.
