Chem 220-011

Welcome to Chem 220-011! To help you get the most from the course and to do your best in the course, I provide frequent updates and advice on the Sakai site for this course - but I mention 2 very important issues on this webpage.

NOTE: There are 2 sections of Chem 220, and they are not "the same." If you are enrolled in Chem 220-011, you must attend lecture section 011 and do work assigned for that section. If you are enrolled in Chem 220-010, you should attend that lecture and do work assigned for that lecture. This webpage is the portal to the Sakai site for Chem 220-011only.

ALSO NOTE: There are prerequisites and co-requisites for Chem 220, and these apply to both sections 010 and 011. You MUST have passing grade credit in Chem 102, 104, 105 or an equivalent course at the 1st year level to take Chem 220. You MUST enroll in a section of Chem 221 to take Chem 220 unless you have previously received a passing grade in Chem 221.

Classes begin in Chem 220-011 on WEDNESDAY August 27. Read the assignments on the Sakai site before you come to class, and bring your clicker. We will start right in.
