Post-Doctoral Associates The Laboratory offers temporary positions lasting from
1-3 years to post-doctoral associates as these positions become available.
Strong preference is given to applicants with prior,
substantial experience in chemometrics, statistics or machine

related areas in international journals. To be considered, submit
your complete curriculum vitae with full information on publications by
e-mail to Prof. Brown. Click here to view available positions.

Visitors seeking collaboration on chemometrics are welcome. Generally, any visitor to the Laboratory must provide funding for travel, lodging and other expenses. If you are not a US citizen, please be aware that the US Government will require you to obtain a visa. You must provide detailed proof of funding and information on citizenship, background and other matters in order to secure a visa. To explore the possibility of a visit, please submit your current Curriculum Vitae to Prof. Brown. Indicate that you are interested in a Visiting Scholar position in the e-mail accompanying your Vitae. Including the start date and duration of the proposed visit is also helpful. The University foreign scholars site with information and UD forms that must be completed to begin the visa process for visitors can be found here. |

Prof. Brown occasionally accepts graduate students, depending on funding available for research projects and student research interests and background. Graduate students must be admitted by the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and by the Graduate School of the University of Delaware before they can be considered for membership in the Laboratory for Chemometrics, however. Applicants can find more information about application proceedures, requirements, stipends and can obtain application materials on the Department's Web site. |
|
Undergraduate researchers are welcome in the Laboratory.
Researchers need not be majoring in Chemistry or Biochemistry to participate
in the research program, but it is expected that students will have
experience with Windows, Linux or Unix and will be comfortable with using
computers to perform data analysis. Programming skills are not essential. Students can participate for course
credit (Chem 468) or as a volunteer. To be considered for a
position, please arrange a meeting with
Prof. Brown to discuss possible research projects,
times and credit for your work in the laboratory. More information is available
here.
