Northeast US Regional Meeting June 9-12, 2005 State College, Pennsylvania Program

Arrival in State College at the Sleep Inn. No formal activities are planned. Early arriving participants may wish to take in attractive Odonate habitats on their way.
A day in the field with groups of ~10 visiting different sites such as Ten Acre Pond (5 miles), Bear Meadows (~10 Miles), Beaver Dam (~12 miles), and Whipple’s Dam (~12 miles). If the weather is favorable, day trips to Poe Paddy (~30 Miles), Black Moshannon (~25 miles), or Tamarack Bog (~70 miles) may be on the schedule. If the weather is uncooperative, a limited number people may wish to visit the Beatty Odonata Collection at the Frost Entomological Museum at Penn State (~2 miles).
A cook out is planned for supper at Whipples Dam at Pavilion 3.
