Requirements for Minor in Chemistry (CHM)


  1. General Chemistry - either CHEM-103/104 (8 cr.) or CHEM-111/112/119 (9 cr.)

  2. Any three of the following:


  1. CHEM-120 Quantitative Chemistry (3 credits) or
    CHEM-220/221 Quantitative Analysis, with Laboratory (4 credits)

    OR

  2. CHEM-321 Organic Chemistry (4 credits), or
    CHEM-331/333 Organic Chemistry, with Laboratory (5 credits)

    OR

  3. CHEM-457/458 Inorganic Chemistry, with Laboratory (4 credits)

    OR

  4. (CHEM-445 or CHEM-446) and (CHEM-418 or CHEM-419 or CHEM-443 or
    CHEM-444)

    OR

  5. CHEM-527 or CHEM-641 Biochemistry (3 credits)


    Minimum total number of credits required for minor: 19

Students must have a minimum grade of "C-" in each course taken towards the minor.
