Missing my stunt at prelims at Nationals in 2002 - but I
hit it at finals. There was no way I was missing twice!

The fact that I can go to an academically-challenging school
and still participate in an equally-challenging athletic
program.

| Lisa Lim (3rd-year Junior) |
Nicknames: "Lis",
"Lee" |
 |
Age:
20
Hometown: Rockville, Maryland
Best cheerleading moment with UD:
My best cheerleading moments are the moments spectators
do not get to see. They are the long hours on the bus to
and from football games. During these times, teammates become
life long friends and those friends turn into your family.
Most embarrassing cheerleading
moment:
At graduation last year in the Big Bob, Kevin Stahl and
I were taking pictures together after he had graduated,
when a teacher we both had came and told us to throw a stunt
for a picture. We did a one arm shoulder sit and a crowd
gathered to see what was going on. Instead of easing me
off the front because I was in a skirt he popped me off
and grabbed my waist to slow me down at the same time, pulling
my skirt up around my chest.
Second most embarrassing (Formerly
the most embarassing!):
Standing on a chair while singing/doing the fightsong/motions
to an entire restuarant full of Citadel cadets. It was my
first away trip and it will never be forgotten.
Favorite thing about the University
of Delaware:
Every day you have the option of a new experience.
Personal and team goals for the
season:
To keep pushing myself everyday in cheerleading as well
as academically. With taking on a new leadership role this
year I hope to be able to motivate my teammates to strive
for the goals they have yet to achieve. "The sky is
the limit" |

| Kayte Philson (3rd-year Senior) |

Best cheerleading moment with UD:
Stunting on the Great Wall of China.
Most embarrassing cheerleading
moment: There are 3 embarrassing moments that stand
out:
1. I broke a button and my top fell down in the middle of
a football game.
2. The zipper on my skirt broke at a basketball game and
I had to continue cheering with a huge hole in the back
of my skirt.
3. I got stuck upside down hanging from Greg's arm with
my skirt over my head while trying to swing dance at a basketball
game.
Favorite thing about the University
of Delaware:
I love the campus and all the friends I have made.
Personal and team goals for the season:

Grizzly Adams, Beach Gorilla" |
 |
Age:
19
Hometown: Townsend, Delaware
Most embarrassing cheerleading
moment:
At last year's homecoming football game, the team did a
pep rally at the president's tailgate. I had to do a back
tuck that I had just learned. I missed the landing and fell
on my hands and knees right in front of the president and
all of his guests. I was pritty embarrassed.
Favorite thing about the University
of Delaware:
I like the small school feeling I get when someone
recognizes me on or off the field. I like being close to
home and I like spending time with all the new friends that
I have made so far.
Personal and team goals for the
season:
Personally I want to continue to grow and become a better
cheeerleader so that I can contribute my best to the team.
For the team I hope we can all become better as a whole
