Welcome & Overview
Welcome to our website!

Here you can get information on what it's like to cheer for the Fightin' Blue Hens of the University of Delaware -- a medium-sized school with one of the best all-around academic and athletic programs in the country. As you'll see, UD has made every effort to make our program one of the best in the nation, and we reward your hard work, skills, and enthusiasm with some of the best cheerleading scholarships around.

As a Blue Hen cheerleader, you'll always have some of the best "seats" in the house! The tradition of excellence for our football program, and our recent successes on the basketball court offer an exciting backdrop for cheerleaders and fans alike.
Away games offer regular travel opportunities to every corner of New England and the mid-Atlantic states, including post-season playoffs for football and a chance for courtside "seats" to the NCAA basketball tournament. We also make the annual trip to Orlando for the UCA National Cheer Championships, and recently won the Division I Nationals for 2000-2001! (The free time in Orlando wasn't bad either!)

Our involvement in public appearances outside the sporting venue also makes our program one of the most high-profile in the country. Most importantly, however, our program offers the opportunity to make life-long friendships. Just ask the scores of cheerleading alumni who first met on the sidelines of a Delaware football game and still keep in touch with their former teammates.
